I’m Daneen Khan, a senior at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying journalism and information science. I’m passionate about digital-first news media, especially at the intersections of reporting, community service and visual storytelling. The dream job is graphics reporting (fun fact: I’ve won multiple Society of News Design awards for my design projects!), but as long as I’m helping the news resonate with people—especially those who are often overlooked or misrepresented in legacy media—I’m eager to keep up the important work.
